Air Fryer Egg Rolls are a tasty and healthy way to enjoy this traditional Chinese dish. They are crispy on the exterior and soft on the inside, and they are created using basic materials that you probably already have on hand.

Ingredients:

1 pound ground pork

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/4 cup sliced carrots

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

12 egg roll wrappers

1 egg, beaten

1 tablespoon water

Instructions:

In a large pan, cook the ground pork over medium heat. Drain out any surplus fat.

Stir in the onion, green bell pepper, and carrots. Cook until the veggies are tender, approximately 5 minutes.

Stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Cook for 1 minute more.

Place a heaping spoonful of filling in the middle of each egg roll wrapper.  

Brush the edges of the wrappers with the beaten egg.

Roll up the egg rolls, beginning at the side with the filling. Seal the edges with water.

Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F.

Place the egg rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer.  

Air fried for 10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips

For a crispier crust, coat the egg rolls with a small dab of oil before air frying.

If you are using frozen egg rolls, defrost them according to the package guidelines before air frying.

You may also air fry egg rolls that are already cooked. Simply prepare the air fryer to 350 degrees F and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until cooked through.
